2007 Season B&B June 2007 "We arrived to a magnificent house in beautiful grounds with a warm welcome from Carol & Keith. Our bedroom & separate lounge had every comfort, Carol & Keith's hospitality continued throughout the week. A very enjoyable stay & we would return on our next visit to Brittany." Dear Gary Martin, If any of your readers are looking to spend time in Southern Brittany, I can strongly recommend they log in to www.montloue.eu. There they will find full details of a new facility where my partner and I had B&B for a week earlier this month. Don’t be put off by the low prices because this place is sheer luxury. We had not just a room but a private suite of large bedroom, fully equipped bathroom and sitting room. In case we were homesick, there was Sky TV with all the usual Freeserve channels. The owners, Keith and Carol Stevens have made a beautiful job of decorating and furnishing the house and went out of their way to be friendly and hospitable. What a lucky find. Throughout the rest of our seventeen day holiday, we were less enamoured by facilities and service in certain other places! Keith and Carol are themselves caravanners and have landscaped and equipped the site to a high standard with three service points which include electric hook-up, water and lighting. Their operation is similar to a CL site in the UK but the location, a few miles north of Pont Aven and the peace and quiet make it a cut well above the average. Incidentally, I was attracted to make the booking by an advert in the June issue of The Caravan Club Magazine. Yours sincerely, David Rycroft Caravan Site June 2007 "Great Hosts - Very accommodating. Site well planned out. Quiet large pitches - English CL in France! Wonderfully relaxing." Mike & Stella (Dover) Caravan Site July 2007 Dear Carol & Keith, Many thanks for making us most welcome at your wonderful site; we enjoyed it so much and your company. We stayed a couple of nights north of Nantes ok site owners very nice but not a lot to visit from there. Spent 2 days in Normandy on the way back up to Calais...not very nice missed your haven. Now back in the UK.........WHAT A SHOCK. I am sure we will see you next year as it was a great introduction to France the cleanliness the people and of course the sites. Thanks for the tip about the wine Sancerre, very nice indeed. Hope you have a good season you certainly deserve it. Best regards Anne & Ron Crawford Caravan Site 2007 Dear Carol & Keith We still hold many great memories of our stay at Montloue and the kindness and generosity you and your friends showed us during our stay - Thank you! Your site is a little gem and no doubt it will become a "must stay" for anyone wanting to explore Southern Brittany as we did last year. Your fantastic photography of the wildlife around the house and grounds is only surpassed by actually being there and seeing the variety and numbers of birds and animals for yourself. We want to also thank you for the sound advice and direction you gave us whilst we were trying to find our own little piece of France to occupy. We hope you are both well and you deserve to be booked solid for the coming season Kind Regards, Gary & Veronica Freeman 2008 Season B&B July 2008 Dear Carol & Keith, ----------------We had a lovely holiday, despite the weather and back problem and thought your B & B absolutely 1st class. Only had two short stops when we ate our sandwiches, they were beautiful thank you, very tasty. The journey in England was not as straight forward we had to do a detour as there was a bad accident on the M25 which meant we did not arrive home until around 11.00pm. John is still asleep now, I did offer to drive in England but that's men for you. Posted your letter Keith. May we say thank you once again for making us so welcome and making our holiday a relaxed one, we will keep in touch and look forward to staying again (if you will have us?) should we visit the area. All the very best and good fortune for the future you definitely derserve it as you both work very hard. Love & Kind Regards John & Jill
